Arriving last sunday appears to be just in time.
As I told before, it started to rain on sunday....well it did not stop. All the rain caused major floodings. Coffs Harbour is "drowned", and we just passed it on Sunday.
We had no major troubles ourselves, exept for the fact that in the middle of the night we had to get out in the heavy rain and roll-in our caravan awning, because of the very stong winds.
Wednesday we spent some time driving around and visiting the nearby historic "Trial Bay Gaol", (a former prison and workcamp) and the "Smoky Cape Lighthouse".
Beautiful view over the wild ocean from there !!
